What is the BC Shriners Variety show?
The BC Shriners Variety Show is a unique event put on by world-class performers. Featuring magic, comedy, ventriloquism, and jaw dropping illusions, the show strives to offer fun for all ages while supporting the philanthropic activities carried out by the BC Shriners.
Who are the Gizeh Shriners of British Columbia & Yukon?
Beyond clowns, tassled hats, and little motorcycles, Shriners is a philanthropic organization providing pediatric health care for children without regard to race, colour, creed, sex, sect, disability, national origin or ability of a patient or family to pay.
What do the proceeds of the Variety Show help to achieve?
The Variety Show is in support of the Shriners activities. The Shriners provide FREE transportation and FREE hospital care, so that children in our communities may receive life changing burn treatments and orthopedic surgeries!
I can’t make the show, what happens when I donate a ticket?
Can’t make the show? Don’t worry, why not help send a local disadvantaged child on your behalf? With amazing support from our residential and business community, the Variety Show works with local non-profit organizations so that together we can help make magic happen for those who need it the most! Do I get a tax receipt when I purchase Variety Show tickets?
As the Shriners Variety Show is an “entertainment”, the tickets are not tax deductible. But it’s a small price to pay to have a great evening out with family and friends, or to make a lasting memory for a local child in your community!
How can I purchase tickets?
Tickets may be purchased online via credit card, or through email or over the phone via credit card, with the option to send in cash, cheque, or money order! You may also get a phone call from one of dedicated fundraisers who can assist taking your ticket order or donation over the phone.
